Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) is seeking an **Electoral Officer** to join the team and contribute to the delivery of timely and efficient election services.

The **Electoral Officer** will support the delivery of parliamentary and local government elections by providing accurate and timely advice to stakeholders, following established procedures and processes and undertaking a range of administrative functions.

Reporting to the A/Team Leader, Elections key responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with stakeholders and organise appropriate election procedures and requirements.
- Assisting with the development and review of forms, manuals and procedures.
- Assisting with, and conducting, information sessions and training programs for electoral officials and external parties.
- Maintaining election data and assist in the collation and production of statistics and/or reports following elections.
- Following project methodologies and timelines to achieve specific outcomes within budgetary constraints.
- Preparing regular, accurate and reliable reports on the status of the activities as it relates to the progress and performance of the election projects.

**Special Conditions**
- This vacancy is offered on a term basis up to 31 July 2024.
- In order not to compromise the strict neutrality of the Commission, no person who is active in political affairs or intends to carry on this activity may be an employee.
- Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the Commission finds satisfactory.
- Extensive out of normal working hours duty may be required during the period of an election.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.

**Remuneration**

ASO3 - $65,590 - $70,968 pro rata
