Our workplace is close to public transport, the city centre, the northern parklands and the River Torrens. Our buildings are grand and steeped in history, spanning three distinct eras of our state, 1843, 1889 and 1939.

The PNSG team are supportive and collaborative. We provide time for training and will reimburse successful completion of certifications and exams. We aim to work 37.5 hours per week, from the office but also from home where required. Overtime is payable for out of hours work in addition to the salary. We offer favourable superannuation (Triple S) in addition to the salary and flexible, family supportive working arrangements.

**About the Role**

The Team Leader, Technology Services position resides within the Parliament Network Support Group (PNSG) in the Joint Services Division of the Parliament of South Australia. The role provides technical planning expertise for the identification, evaluation and selection of future IT requirements for architecture and security management and contributes significantly to critical Parliamentary Network planning processes related to contingency planning, disaster recovery and current and future operational planning.

This role manages a complex and changing work environment characterised by conflicting priorities, political sensitivities and a growing need for technological solutions; ensuring that a high level of system availability, security and resilience is maintained at all times including during peak periods when Parliament is sitting and at Electoral Offices.

This is a trusted role and is required to undertake duties, such as managing confidential and sensitive electorate data, requiring an elevated security clearance to Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) Negative Vetting Level 1.

**Special Conditions**

The incumbent is required to:

- work on a roster system for on-call and after-hours support
- hold a current driver’s licence and be prepared to drive to meet business requirements.
- refrain from any kind of political activity or involvement in electoral affairs.
- maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.

Some intra/interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.

The incumbent will be required to participate in the Parliament’s Performance Development Program and achieve performance targets as negotiated and mutually agreed with the Manager, PNSG.

The incumbent may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the Parliament.

**Remuneration**

ASH8 ($119,317 to $123,822 per annum)

37.5 hours per week (equivalent to $60.99 - $63.30/ hour).

Overtime payable for out of hours work in addition to salary.

Employer Superannuation Contribution Rate 11.0% in addition to salary.

Flexible, family supportive working arrangements.
