**About the Role**:
Corporate Solutions considers each claim to be a business opportunity and is looking for a proactive, solution-oriented Claims Specialist for our Sydney or Melbourne office who will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of property claims.
You will be a strategic thinker and confident decision maker who is organised and can work well both independently and as part of a team.
You will be required to manage a caseload of property claims from receipt to final resolution whilst maintaining a strong customer focus by proactively researching issues, providing support and assuring customer satisfaction in a timely fashion.
**About the Team**:
The team handles Commercial Property, Engineering, Energy, General Liability and FinPro claims both domestically and internationally with a strong emphasis on quality and customer service. We are a diverse and inclusive team that works well in a collaborative environment while fostering and developing independent thought.
**About You**:
- Bachelor's degree with either legal experience or 5+ years claims handling experience;- Solid coverage, liability, damage investigation, evaluation, negotiation and claims resolution skills;- Have, or be willing to gain, an in-depth understanding of loss prevention and costing principles;- Excellent customer service skills with experience building and maintaining relationships with underwriters, customers, brokers and other internal and external business partners;- Deliver high quality, efficient and effective customer experience in every aspect;- Superior interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills;-
- Demonstrate flexibility to adopt new ways of working principles and behaviours in their everyday life and coach other team members to do the same;- Expert in data analytics, developing methodologies and outputs to provide key insights to drive business decisions;- Have developed deep relevant digital expertise and advocate the use of these in a range of situations;- Strong organisational skills, focused and self-motivated with excellent negotiation skills; and- Experience in recoveries is desirable but not essential.
