This role will manage and resolve claims. Work closely with manager and fellow Claims Specialists/Adjusters /lawyers to drive files to resolution and interact and collaborate frequently with Practice Leaders and the Underwriting team. Manage assigned claims while setting and implementing the case strategy for these claims under the direction of the Practice Leaders and Claims management Building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Proactively manage assigned SME liability claims across multiple jurisdictions, while setting and implementing the case strategy for these claims under the direction of the Practice Leaders and Claims management.
- Ensuring documentation is present in files and claims specialist/adjuster guidelines and protocols are followed
- Owning claims files and working with the claims manager and practice leaders to develop strategies with the vendors while identifying large losses
- Managing Claims litigation strategy or alternative resolution techniques for claims
- Assisting underwriters with policy review and drafting initiatives
- Driving and participating in brokers and clients' meetings and educational seminars to our brokers' network in order to enhance e Claims' value and support business growth
- Deliver prompt, fair, empathetic and accurate claims service, in a fast pace environment enhancing strong broker and client relationships; takes an innovative and solution-oriented approach; provides insights into risks and improvements; is aware of and responsive to industry, market and local trends

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree and/or relevant experience; typically a colleague in this role could be expected to have 3-5 years experience
- Ability to make presentations to colleagues or brokers and/or take on increasing responsibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, presentation and influencing skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of sophistication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently juggle numerous concurrent responsibilities.
- Collaborative approach: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with insured, brokers, claim handlers, underwriters and legal counsel. Provide guidance and seek input from others as needed to achieve the best result possible. Capable of working and collaborating with a virtual team.
- Results Oriented: Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality. Act with a sense of urgency
