**The Role**:
Our client is a prestigious insurance organisation on the lookout for an Service Desk Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- To provide first touch technical support in resolving service disruptions.
- Provide first level PC, mobile devices, network and technical support for all PC users and administration of the Windows Domain, Office 365, Anti-Virus Products, Business Software and other internally-developed systems as deemed appropriate.
- To ensure all staff are provided with functioning hardware, software, network and telephony services.
- To resolve incidents arising from disruptions to hardware, software, network and telephony services.
- To provide first level support and co-ordinate users’ and resolvers’ when service disruptions occur.
- To participate in the implementation of IS security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain Service Desk, update and assign requests as required.
- Create, Delete and Audit user accounts and access as required.
- Supporting installation of hardware and software.
- Support to users covering LAN & DB connectivity issues, as well as hardware and software.

**About You**:

- 1-3 years’ experience as an IT Service Desk Officer within a small-medium Information Technology Team
- Basic skills administering Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365.
- Intermediate Microsoft Windows troubleshooting skills
- Certificate 4 in IT Service Desk or equivalent/ITIL Certification (desirable)
