**About the role**

The Claims and Data Officer Injury Management is accountable to the Manager Work Health Safety and Injury Management, through the Team Leader Injury Management for ensuring the provision of an equitable, efficient injury management service in accordance with the Return to Work Act, 2014 (RTW Act), Amendment Acts and Regulations and Accreditation Standards.

The Claims and Data Officer (IM) will work under supervision and guidance of the Team Leader and Claims Consultants to provide equitable, timely and effective claims management, by managing low risk and short-term claims to minimise the financial impact of work-related injuries for the organisation. The Claims and Data Officer (IM) is responsible for the processing and timely payment of workers compensation accounts, accurate data entry recording of claims and rehabilitation information through the Self Insurance Management System (SIMS), new claims, invoice expenses and income maintenance.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
