The Claims Management Officer works in the Claims team and is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and accurate and timely administrative services to members and stakeholders.
**We are looking for enthusiastic people with a commitment to service excellence to**:
- Provide high quality, effective and accurate claims administration services to members and Government Agencies.
- Deliver sound regulatory knowledge and interpretation from a range of Acts, Regulations, superannuation schemes, standards and internal policies and procedures to case work and Super SA peers.
- Undertake regular case reviews to ensure standards are met, and to discuss any complex and contentious cases to identify and mitigate any risks relating to case outcomes.
- Process calculations to benefits accurately in line with established standards and procedures.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:
- Knowledge of insurance claims and/or insurance underwriting administration.
- Proven experience in handling difficult situations in a calm, positive and objective manner, with excellent problem solving skills resulting in win/win outcomes.
- Effective communication and liaison with a diverse range of people at various levels (both orally and in writing), including claimants, medical and legal practitioners.
- Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and in using multiple software programs/databases at once.
- Knowledge of superannuation and the schemes offered by Superannuation funds.
- Ability to manage an active and moving portfolio and manage and maintain regular member contact.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
**Special Conditions**
Contracts may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, with the salary adjusted accordingly.
**Remuneration**
ASO4 - $74,315- $77,901 p.a. plus superannuation.
