Accredited Practicing Dietitian

We are seeking a passionate Accredited Practicing Dietitian to join our team, specialising in the management of diabetes, eating disorders and other chronic conditions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based nutrition interventions to support our clients in achieving their health goals.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Current registration as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with the relevant regulatory body.
- Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) and current National Police Certificate.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting clients with diverse backgrounds and needs.
**Desirable (but not mandatory) qualifications**:
- Current ANZAED credentialing (or willingness to obtain through Beta Health)

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for clients.
- Develop individualised nutrition care plans and provide ongoing nutrition counseling and education to empower clients in managing their conditions effectively.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the allied health team, including physicians, nurses and diabetes educators to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise in nutrition to develop integrated care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in the field of diabetes and eating disorders.
**Location**:
Hybrid/online with some clinics in either Ipswich, West and East Brisbane - dependent on your availability and preferences.
