Specialist Consulting Funding Support plays an integral role in ensuring Monash Health meets Medicare and governing legislative requirements by completing auditing and data quality activities ensuring the Department of Health's non-admitted patient activity reporting requirements are met.

**A Day in the Life**:
We’re a collaborative, supportive and motivated team and are seeking a like-minded Funding Support Officer to join us. This is a unique and varied role where your skill and experience will relied upon across the broader team. Coordination, auditing, and reporting on data anomalies is one aspect where you’ll ensure accurate and timely reporting of non-public specialist consulting clinics and appointment types such as; MBS, specified grants, and other third party funding sources.

You’ll also have responsibility for developing and presenting training materials to assist end users; support them with implementation of new business process improvements; and be involved in testing of new system implementation upgrades and modifications.

In this fulltime ongoing position, you’ll have the flexibility to work on-site at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton and from home.

**What You Bring**:
Key to your success in this role is your knowledge of business processes within health services, ideally with an understanding of medical terminology, the Department of Health’s reporting guidelines and policies for activity based funding. You’ll be an expert when it comes to MS Office, and draw on your experience using a patient administration system.

Your experience with MBS billing will be highly considered.
