**What You Will Be Doing**

This role is part of the Better at Home strategy, a body of work aimed at providing as much care as is safely possible, outside a bed-based environment by broadening the scope of its home-based services, addressing service gaps and enhancing and integrating these services to result in a more seamless response for patients, their families and carers.

The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) of the At Home Sub Acute service where they are employed and is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors within the unit. Additionally, they provide efficient and effective general clerical support for ward staff respecting confidentiality at all times.

This role operates from Monday - Saturday, with shifts available across all six days.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
- High level computer skills, including experience using iPM
- Ability to address priority tasks first
- Previous experience in a health setting (desirable)
