**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Student Reporting & Analytics Officer to coordinate the Institute’s AVETMISS reporting requirements, integration of respective regulatory changes, production and submission of claims/reports to meet Institute and Government requirements.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Administer and maintain Student Management System (SMS) settings to produce reports, to ensure configuration changes are implemented and data reporting integrity is maintained.
- Minimise revenue at risk through education, exception reporting and liaison with student management and relevant departments to identify and co-ordinate actions required to rectify errors and reverse rejects within required timeframes.
- Analyse data errors and rejects to identify and develop action plans for systemic issues requiring SMS configuration changes, user training and/or process improvements.

- A relevant degree and work experience in a data reporting and analysis role; or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and substantial relevant experience, preferably within an education setting.
- Demonstrated high level of data collection, analysis, investigative and reporting capability.
- Demonstrated initiative with an emphasis on solution development and driving continuous process improvement.
- High level of computer skills and proficiency in the use of software systems and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel). Experience with databases, SQL and specific experience and proficiency with Technology One Student Management, NVCER’s AVETMISS Validation Software, or Skills Victoria Training System (SVTS) will be looked upon favourably but is not essential.
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
