**Job Summary**:
As a **Commercial Due Diligence Officer**, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial acquisition and growth of NDIS businesses. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of the NDIS sector to conduct due diligence on potential business acquisitions, ensure compliance, and facilitate smooth transitions for clients and stakeholders. This position involves close collaboration with NDIS business owners and requires a background in support coordination or previous experience within the NDIS sector.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Commercial Due Diligence**: Perform thorough due diligence on NDIS businesses to assess commercial risks and opportunities. Review operational and compliance records.
- **Business Evaluations**: Assist in the valuation and analysis of NDIS businesses for potential acquisition focusing on compliance with NDIS regulations, and strategic alignment with company goals.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain relationships with NDIS business owners, service providers, and other stakeholders. Conduct meetings and negotiations to facilitate business acquisitions.
- **Compliance Monitoring**: Ensure that all NDIS businesses under review are compliant with the NDIS Commission’s rules and regulations.
- **Acquisition Assistance**: Support the acquisition process by providing strategic insights, drafting reports, and coordinating with legal and financial teams to ensure a smooth handover.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated with trends and changes in the NDIS sector, particularly around policy updates, market opportunities, and regulatory changes that could impact acquisitions.
- **Transition Support**: Assist NDIS businesses post-acquisition in understanding and meeting compliance requirements, including support in integrating business systems and practices.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **Extensive Knowledge of the NDIS Sector**: Deep understanding of NDIS policies, compliance requirements, and sector-specific challenges.
- **Previous Support Coordination Experience**: Preferred experience as a Support Coordinator, or in similar roles within the NDIS sector, ensuring practical understanding of service delivery and provider operations.
- **Strong Analytical Skills**: Ability to assess financial, operational, and regulatory aspects of businesses during due diligence.
- **Communication & Negotiation Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage NDIS business owners and conduct successful negotiations.
- **Commercial Acumen**: Preferred Experience in business analysis, mergers, acquisitions, or due diligence processes within a service industry.
- **Attention to Detail**: Proficiency in identifying commercial risks and ensuring that acquisition processes comply with NDIS standards and regulations.
- **Team Collaboration**: Ability to work effectively with financial, legal, and operational teams during acquisition processes.

**Desired Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years in the NDIS sector, preferably in support coordination or related roles.
- Preferred Experience with business acquisition, mergers, or commercial due diligence is a plus.
- Familiarity with NDIS pricing guidelines, participant plan management, and regulatory compliance.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $40.00 - $72.00 per hour
