Marsh Insurance Advisory Expert
Marsh Pty Ltd is recruiting for a highly skilled Insurance Advisory Expert in our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions practice. This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of our business and deliver specialist services to clients across the globe.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for leading insurance due diligence engagements for private equity, corporate, and financial institution clients. You will work closely with clients to deliver insightful advice on insurance and risk matters, driving business growth and fostering long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Marsh brand within the Australian and New Zealand market.
- Develop and deliver due diligence reports that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Coordinate services provided by other practices within Marsh to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Mentor and coach junior staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Liaise with overseas professionals to leverage expertise and best practices.
- Develop and nurture relationships with private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, and financial institutions to drive business growth.
- Respond to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Stay ahead of the curve by actively engaging with industry trends and developments, ensuring Marsh remains at the forefront of the insurance and risk advisory space.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts.
- Prior experience in a Due Diligence role or demonstrated expertise in insurance broking with clients considering M&A.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to foster long-term partnerships.
- Strong data analysis, research, report writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
