- Tesla is seeking a Global Supply Analyst for the APAC Indirect Purchasing/eProcurement Team. This person will be a central point of contact for all purchasing related queries internally. This person will support in the overall P2P (purchase 2 pay) process, including vendor on boarding and optimizing our eProcurement solutions for Tesla internal stakeholders across all APAC business units. This person will be a member of our APAC Indirect Purchasing Organization supporting the development, implementation, and management of strategies to provide Tesla with optimal supply assurance, pricing, and delivery performance. The Global Supply Analyst builds and leverages strong relationships with key suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

What You’ll Do
- Owner of RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented.
- Ensures NDA, SOW’s and MSA (Master Service Agreement) are positioned appropriately before business is initiated.
- Drive price negotiations processes to ensure that Tesla’s commodity pricing is best in class.
- Diver continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations.
- Drive supply base consolidation where possible.
- Analyze current spend and evaluate current suppliers. Consolidate spend across supply base to create leverage, analyze purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives.
- Manage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution. Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships, act as the lead point of contact for all commercial issues,
- Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels.
- Develop spend strategies, identify potential suppliers, analyze supplier capabilities, select suppliers, and determine prices, terms, and conditions of agreements.
- Lead vendor selection process with the relevant Tesla internal key stakeholders. Lead the negotiation with supplier and contract preparation.
- Identify supplier consolidation opportunities that will generate savings from executing strategic sourcing projects.
- Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance, or containment. Develop solid understanding of cost drivers and contracts.
- Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate and provide guidance on final selection of supplier; Perform value analysis for final selection of suppliers.
- Support business planning and savings within budgetary milestones.
- Ensuring that spend is under management and contract compliance.
- Establishing measurement tools/metrics to monitor procurement progress.
- Lead the process of data collection and analyzes of spend data across various APAC business units.
- Provide analysis of existing requirements and pricing to ensure the most cost-effective options.
- Work closely with the global supply managers across APAC region to proactively support key business performance metrics through stakeholder engagement and data analysis.
- Improve and maintain the APAC Indirect Purchasing teams eProcurement dashboard.
- Host weekly purchasing Q&A sessions
- Become the main point of contact for procurement related queries regarding supplier on boarding, e-Invoicing, and purchase order related questions.
- Maintain quarterly purchasing newsletters for all Tesla APAC stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring
- At least three (3) years’ experience in Indirect Purchasing, preferably in purchasing of administration service.
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills. Advanced excel skills a must have.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
- Strategic Sourcing, Opportunity Analyses, and Contract Negotiations a must.
- Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve.
- Proactive attitude and resourcefulness - self-motivated to improve the overall purchasing process.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
