Join the team managing Sydney’s most historically and culturally significant waterfront locations. Working with government agencies, event organisers and stakeholders to bring events and activations to life.

Our Place Management NSW team are currently seeking to appoint **Casual Aboriginal Education Guides** to provide outstanding educational and visitor experiences by delivering a range of curriculum-linked education programs and tours for primary and secondary school students and other groups.
- This is an Aboriginal Identified role_ _where Aboriginal identity, cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Positions are specifically noted under the provisions of the NSW Anti-discrimination Act (1977)._

**About You**

You will join a team showcasing your experience in delivering Aboriginal education programs that are interactive and curriculum-linked. You will also be required to deliver other education and interpretative programs and/or tours as required for other groups whilst adhering to cultural protocols appropriate to the delivery of programs and tours.

You will assist with administrative duties which include data entry, completion of post-program diaries, and collecting and recording of information relating to the visitor experience.

**Essential Requirements**
- Demonstrated Customer service experience in presenting to groups/tours
- Knowledge of Aboriginal Culture and values
- Understanding of Cultural ways of working with Aboriginal children, young people and their families to promote healing, cultural identity, connection to family, community and culture.
- Previous experience in administration support service with an eye for detail
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is an essential requirement for this role.
- This is an Identified role under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal people who meet the following criteria:

- is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, and
- identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and
- is accepted as such by the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
