**Administration Assistant - Commercial Painting**

Darren Slater Painter & Decorator Pty Ltd is a commercial painting business with projects across Brisbane and Gold Coast.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to be part of its friendly and inclusive team.

The successful applicant should be reliable, good communication skills, take initiative and participate as a team player.

This is an opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career to the next level.

Minimum three years’ experience in administration processes and exposure to the construction industry is desirable, in particular painting and paint products.

The role works alongside the Administration Manager and includes responsibilities but not limited to:

- Accounts payable
- Match invoices to purchase order and delivery notes
- Enter invoices into MYOB, allocate to correct GL code and job number
- Follow up credit notes
- Monthly reconciliation against supplier statements
- Assist with Payroll, QLeave
- Assist with HR, place job ads, onboard new staff, setup on systems
- Using Deputy geo-tracking, check and approve worked hours on timesheets and query discrepancies
- Liaise with all staff and clients as required
- Place paint orders and monitor delivery of goods
- Enter project variations in spreadsheet and CoConstruct
- Send documents via DocuSign for client approval
- Assist Sales/Estimating team with data entry as required
- Assist Project Managers with printing job reports, source equipment and material quotes
- Assist WHS Manager as required
- Research and source costings for events
- Type, print, bind, collate documents
- Adhoc tasks as required
- Essential experience in MS Office 365, MYOB AccountRight
- Desirable knowledge/experience in web-based programs such as Deputy Time Management and CoConstruct Project Management - training will be provided
- Desirable painting industry experience and/or paint products knowledge
- Understanding of business and bookkeeping principles
- Attention to detail, good communicator, proactive completer/finisher, integrity
- There are no direct bus routes to our office, vehicle necessary and driver’s license

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ORMEAU, QLD 4208: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
