Meaningful work from Day One

This position will play an important partnership and activation role within the business. You will be responsible for managing and executing sponsorship and event partnerships across the Brown-Forman portfolio. Critical to this role is a passion for all facets of sponsorship and events, the ability to build successful external and internal partnerships and manage time critical work streams and processes.

What you will experience
- Partnership Management_
- Leverage the Brown-Forman portfolio & lead the execution of key sponsorships such as McLaren Formula 1, Falls Festival and the Make It Count tour
- Manage relationships with key decision makers within sponsorship and events
- Contribute to the negotiation of partnership contracts that deliver brand and/or commercial objectives
- Partner on the evaluation of potential new sponsorship and events opportunities, and make recommendations to the business
- Be a proactive and effective ambassador for the businesses and our portfolio of brands
- Build strong and meaningful relationships with internal & external stakeholders to build influence
- Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to deliver integrated event plans
- Planning_
- Take responsibility for sponsorship and event partnership planning cycles and reviews
- Lead the planning of event execution inclusive of agency and partnerships in the planning process
- Keep up to date with event industry and market trends to facilitate informed decision making and planning
- Manage relevant budgets associated with event execution
- Lead the procurement of event merchandise, materials and resources
- Assist in the briefing and development of event related assets
- Events & Sponsorship Execution_
- Lead the execution of all facets of sponsorship and events across ANZPI
- Demonstrate a high level of awareness of risk management, insurance and safety policies
- Manage agency partners to contribute to industry leading sponsorship and event executions
- Contribute to experiential brand activations in channels including retail and on premise
- Manage nationally current B-FA major events assets and their live execution
- Spend time at events outside of normal business hours including nights, weekends and public holidays

**Profile**:

- At least 5 years experience in a sponsorship or event related role running large scale events, building event structures, managing agencies and promoters
- Ability to develop partnerships and influence key stakeholders
- Proficient use of Google Suite or Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to undertake domestic travel as required
- The ability to work weekends, nights and public holidays as required
- Experience in the beverage alcohol industry or FMCG,on premise event/hospitality is highly regarded
