Credit Suisse Wealth Management Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) is seeking a Chief of Staff (CoS) who can autonomously execute and operate in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This will be a key role in shaping and executing the long-term strategy of the local wealth management business. The CoS is a strategic, tactical, and hands-on role directly reporting to the Wealth Management Market Group Head (MGH) for ANZ. You will be a consultant and trusted advisor on key initiatives for the business and ensure that the operating rhythm of the business is maintained.

This role will lead and coordinate the core business priorities for the MGH and the management team. With the full backing of the MGH, the CoS is responsible for a diverse portfolio of activities and in return, will gain invaluable exposure and experience across the pre-eminent wealth manager in Australia.

Responsibilities include:

- Development, implementation, and delivery of business strategy for the MGH;
- Onshore financial management of the business including revenue and asset recognition, balance sheet analysis and cost control;
- Prepare for and participate alongside the MGH in meetings with senior internal stakeholders (local, regional and global) and external regulators;
- Drive key client coverage across the Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Markets divisions, assisting in the execution of cross-divisional transactions;
- Ensure the smooth running and governance of local and regional management and governance forums;
- Collaborate with Communications to create and implement an appropriate local communication strategy;
- Work with the local management team (Sydney and Melbourne) to drive people and culture initiatives;
- Create and review critical documents and presentations, ensuring appropriate messaging and consistently high quality;
- Work in partnership with the broader regional Chief of Staff team ensuring appropriate co-ordination, best practice and information sharing globally;
- Develop an effective partnership with all aligned parties and stakeholders, including COO, Finance, HR, Compliance.

**Your future colleagues**:
The Chief of Staff will work closely with the Wealth Management Market Group Head, the Wealth Management Chief Operating Office (COO) team and the wider Wealth Management division on a daily basis. You will also work closely with the local management teams as well as other divisions across the bank.

**Your skills and experience**
- Experienced professional from a financial services and/or strategy/consulting background, with a deep knowledge of Wealth Management or a related Investment Banking business;
- Strong financial and business analytical skills;
- Proven experience operating effectively and gaining trust with senior management and diverse senior stakeholders;
- A collegiate team player who can partner across functions, regions and businesses to build constructive working relationships at all levels of seniority;
- An excellent communicator with strong presentation skills;
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work effectively to tight deadlines, with an ability to solve a broad set of problems in a timely manner;
- Diligent, highly organised and self-motivated, with an innate sense of how to prioritise;
- Measured, calm and able to cope under pressure, dealing with competing demands;
- Intellectually curious; always striving to learn new things and pursue greater challenges
