An administration position has recently opened within the Building & Compliance Services department.
- Primary objectives of the position:_
- To provide efficient, accurate administrative support by registering and maintaining Building permit records on Council’s corporate data system,
- To provide assistance in maintaining the computerised database within building services.
- To provide a level of customer service that consistently meets or exceeds our communities’ expectations
- The essential position requirements include:_
- Working effectively within the multidisciplinary Building & Compliance Services team and with related City Planning, Design & Amenity departments in order to provide good internal customer service / administrative support. A Certificate IV Administration is required.
- An understanding of the relevant technology, procedures and processes and function of the role within Building Services including relevant policies, regulations and precedents as well as an understanding of the goals of the unit and where appropriate an appreciation of how this contributes to the goals of the wider organisation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and interpretation of the Building Act 1993 and Building Regulations related to administration processes.
