Clough, as part of the Integrate Alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities, a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth community, reducing waste and emissions.

We are currently searching for an experienced Commissioning and Startup Manager to join the Integrate Alliance, to ensure installation testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning scopes of work are identified, planned, executed as per project requirements.

The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office and will transition to site (Perth southern suburbs) in 2024 as construction activities commence.

Your focus will include:
- Resourcing, management and supervision of the Commissioning Team.- Developing commissioning philosophies and methods that minimise risk to safety, the environment, assets and production.- Ensuring all commissioning documentation and deliverables are completed in a timely manner.- Ensuring all Commissioning personnel are adequately trained / inducted for the work required and have required competencies.- Managing the interface between subcontractors and Company operations- Ensuring all Company statutory permits and approvals are identified and implemented prior to commencement of work.- Providing strategic and proactive resolutions to issues identified relating to Commissioning requirements.- Overseeing all required inspections/Audits and FAT's and ensure commissioning personnel attendance.- Planning and execution of the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities required for the project.- Preparing and reviewing project procedures, drawings and programs.- Preparing and reporting on commissioning progress.

What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.- At least 10 years’ experience in project engineering, construction and commissioning.- Experience in Water and Wastewater projects.- Experience in Wastewater Sludge Handling, biological process streams and THP process will be highly desirable.- Capabilities of bringing online complex and inter-related process streams to form a fully functional facility.- Process experience for ramp up of digester feed rates while maintaining operational throughput of the existing facility.- Knowledge of construction / commissioning methods and standards, quality assurance, interface and handover requirements.- Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire and influence.- Attention to detail, and a strong client focus.- Knowledge of HSE and statutory requirements, including safety case, risk assessment and mitigation processes such as HAZID and HAZOP.
