**About **Training for Knowledge and Livelihood **(TKL)**

TKL College is a provider of vocational education and training (or VET as it is commonly known). The VET sector in Australia is based on a partnership between governments and industry. VET qualifications are provided by government institutions, called Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions, as well as private institutions. We are a private institution.

We are currently seeking an **Intervention Officer **to join our **Parramatta** team.

**About the role**

The **Intervention Officer **Provide comprehensive support services to students enrolled and offer guidance and assistance to academic requirements.
- Respond to student inquiries and provide accurate information on RTO policies. Procedures and services.
- Assist students in resolving any issues or concerns they may have related to their studies or the learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of student support strategies and initiatives.
- Delivering prevention and early intervention programs for students at risk.
- Attending phone calls and being the first point of contact for a wellbeing team.
- Engaging with students on a daily basis and handling enquiries.
- Maintaining student records and files and other administrative tasks.

**About you**

You have proven experience in Student Support and can collaborate effectively in a diverse environment. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving abilities.

You have good time management skills, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
