**Project & Contracts Assistant**
Allstaff Australia has an interim role for a Local Government Council to assist with property projects and contracts prior to the appointment of the permanent Project & Contracts Officer.
Training will be provided and on-site support available at all times.
**Position Description/ Specific Requirements**:
- Manage Council’s property assets, including the administration of Council’s Land Register.
- Manage Council’s procurement process for the delivery of property related projects and contracts.
- Assist in the implementation and management of new systems and business processes to facilitate the ongoing management and effectiveness of property related assets
**Skills deemed to be essential to carry out above duties**:
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with the administrative functions associated with property and contract management.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of Request for Quotation / Tender documentation.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills, highly organised and detail focused
- Current Class C drivers licence

Manager Property
**Location**:
Burwood
**Days and hours to be worked in this assignment**:
- Monday to Friday
- 8.30am - 4.30pm (but is flexible depending on operational requirements i.e. meeting contractors early etc.)
- 1 hour unpaid lunch break
**Preferred Commencement Date**:
As soon as possible
**Possible term of engagement**:
Anticipated 10 weeks
