The Logistics Supervisor, Inventory is responsible for systematic coordination of section priorities, enabling a small team to manage fulfilment and dispatch of circulating and commercial coin orders. They support the Operations Branch to effectively verify and receive inward goods, and manage storage and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, serialised inventory, spare parts, and consumable items. The Logistics Supervisor, Inventory systematically manages inventory overseeing the processing, destruction and disposal of withdrawn coin, obsolete materials, serialised inventory and master tools.

The Logistics Supervisor, Inventory is responsible for managing and coordinating vendors and freight contracts, within agreed terms and delegations, to ensure supplier service standards, capability and capacity are achieved. They provide guidance on warehouse space utilisation, undertake risk assessments, create and maintain related work instructions, and coordinate opportunities to continually improve processes.

The duties of this position include:
1. Overseeing processing including the destruction and disposal of withdrawn circulating coin, and maintaining related records.
2. Supporting the Logistics Manager to provide timely and accurate fulfilment of circulating coin orders.
3. Using and training staff in ERP systems to monitor inventory levels, run reports, analyse data and undertake quality assurance processes.
4. Developing and coordinating section priorities, work plans and objectives and remaining adaptable to changing workflows.
5. Assisting the Logistics Manager to maintain and secure inventory and resources, and store and dispose of materials, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
6. Providing guidance on space utilisation to achieve maximum storage efficiency.
7. Assisting the Planning and Logistics Manager to manage income and expenditure for the cost centre, including overseeing allocation of funds and processing section invoices.
8. Assisting the Planning and Logistics Manager to manage and coordinate vendors and freight contracts to ensure supplier service standards, capability and capacity are achieved.
9. Providing reporting to senior management relating to inward goods, withdrawn coins, storage, serialised inventory and requests.
10. Undertaking risk assessments and reviewing work instructions to ensure processes are improved and comply with relevant standards.
11. Assisting the Planning and Logistics Manager to coordinate and oversee the mid and end of financial year stocktakes to monitor inventory levels.
12. Supervising a small team, providing performance feedback and identifying learning and development opportunities for staff.

**Security clearance**
This position requires a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
