The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management and reporting of the Mint’s inventory, including but not limited to, raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and consumables. They will provide support services to the organisation by receipting of goods against purchase orders; ensuring the accuracy of information; receiving and sending of circulating coins; inventory data for audit; and maximising space through efficient warehousing. They will also oversee the Mints uniform processes as well as the returned coin programme.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for promoting a safe work environment in line with WHS requirements as well as committing to improving the efficiency of existing process with continual improvement activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will manage, establish, and maintain communication with customers, suppliers, carriers, and others involved in the shipping and delivery of materials and products.

**The successful applicant is required to work full-time and on-site.**

The duties of this position include:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Stores section, including periodical stocktaking.
2. Receiving, verifying, and acquitting incoming inventory.
3. Investigating and resolving discrepancies where possible.
4. Issuing and transferring appropriate materials; processing appropriate documentation; and recording and maintaining accurate information in the inventory control system.
5. Overseeing and maintaining security and inventory control of dies; processing disposal of write-off materials.
6. Safely operating forklift trucks, electric and manual pallet jacks as required.
7. Managing storage space in the warehouse to maximise efficiency.
8. Developing, communicating, and managing work plans effectively, managing team performance.
9. Monitoring inventory to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met.
10. Developing solutions for recommendations as challenges arise for approval/consideration of the Planning and Logistics Manager.

**Security clearance**
This position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

**Licence**
High Risk Working Licence - Forklift Licence (ACT) is mandatory.
