**Who we are**
**The People, Property and Security Division** works in partnership to deliver strategic and operational workforce services that enable and enhance organisational capability. The division provides stewardship, support and services across integrity; conduct; property; fraud and corruption; security; performance management; rehabilitation management; recruitment; learning and development; inclusion and diversity; workforce planning and analytics; workplace relations; people support; culture and health, safety and wellbeing.

**The People Strategy and Safety Branch **drives HR strategy across the department. The branch fosters an inclusive and diverse workplace, builds corporate capability, identifies and plans for our future workforce needs and formally rewards and recognises the contributions made by our employees. The branch also leads work, health and safety across the department, with two sections responsible for this work.

**The Talent, Leadership and Capability section** coordinates talent and leadership programs and provides department-wide corporate learning and development (L&D) services and solutions. We do this by providing access to high-cost programs and management of the coaching panel. We provide specialised learning advice, solutions and frameworks, and we administer the department’s Learning Management System, Learnhub, and the external training platform.

**The Job**
The key duties of the position include:

- Design, develop and implement high-quality strategic L&D products.
- Review and maintain existing L&D guidance documentation for currency and best-practice.
- Work with the broader team and provide input into L&D frameworks and learning pathways.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, influence workplace capability uplift and support development of a future ready workforce.
- Represent the department at forums and communities of practice.
- Function independently in a multi-tasking environment, as well as part of a team.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and analyse data to inform decisions produce accurate reports.
- Manage team administrative duties such as preparing briefs and other documents such as business planning, briefings and responses to agency surveys and assist the Director with management of the team’s budget.
- Mentor and coach developing learning and development team employees.
- Contribute to workplace and learner psychological safety.
