BK Medical wants to achieve a leading market position as intra-operative imaging partner in Neurosurgery. BK medical’s Neurosurgery Consultants work closely with company’s and Brainlab’s sales personnel (and/or any other neurosurgery partner), physicians and other medical personnel to provide sales support during selling process (demos, presentations, etc), clinical guidance, training and product support for surgical procedures.

**Essential Job Duties**
- Provide on-site consulting, guidance and assistance to physicians and OR personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving before and during neurosurgery cases in order to maximize BK Medical’s ultrasound usage
- Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of BK medical products and services related to Neurosurgery.
- Develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling them to implement in-house training on the assigned products.
- Develop and conduct training programs for BK Medical personnel on assigned products
- Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of BK medical products
- Work closely with the Sales personnel, marketing and industry partner(s) to develop market transparency, suggest clinical research initiatives and R&D projects.
- Facilitate relationship building and account targeting strategies between BK medical reps and Brainlab sales personnel
- Provide ongoing feedback to BK Medical Strategic Marketing on clinical and quality improvements for BK Medical products.
- Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote BK medical products and services
- Keep abreast of developments regarding BK medical and competitive Ultrasound products and services in the Intra-operative imaging field, via ongoing training and individual research and analysis
- Develop deep scientific knowledge in the field of Neurosurgery and Intra-op imaging
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
- Ensure coordination in the field with sales reps, partners and customers in order to achieve revenue targets in Neurosurgery
- Actively conduct market transparency in order to generate leads in Neurosurgery
- Work with sales reps to develop and close sales opportunities
- Provide training and education when needed
- Provide Structured market feedback and provides the information to VP neurosurgery, sales and marketing leaders
- Develop relations with partners, customers, opinion leaders and VIP customers
- Territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM, OK, TX

**Qualifications Required**
- 2-4 years experience in a clinical or technical support role preferably for a neurosurgical or spinal healthcare provider
- 1-2 years sales experience with healthcare company preferred
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy and medical terminology, neurosurgery preferred
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
- Located near a major city with accessible airport
- Travel - 75%
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or Nursing required
- A dynamic self-starter of smart appearance and personable nature, with leadership qualities and an ability to lead and motivate people
- Knowledge of the neurosurgery and spine clinical areas
- Excellent communication and co-ordination skills.
- A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and the willingness to travel extensively
- This position can be based anywhere in a the western half of the united states
