**About the role**

The HR Officer, Employee Services role delivers a range of transactional human resource (HR) services at various locations to support the achievement of business results and customer service excellence. The role is accountable for delivering accurate, timely and reliable transaction processing, advice and customer support through the effective use of tailored service delivery strategies.

The role provides high quality customer services and undertakes a range of transactional activities to support HR functions such as, but not limited to, pay and entitlement, employee Onboarding, organisational management, payroll administration and system access/functionality to staff employed by the Department of Education.

The role is part of the Human Resources Shared Service team in EDConnect.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
