**Description**:
About the role
The Brand Manager - China NPD is responsible for leading the 3-year innovation pipeline for health supplements/ food products to target the China market.
**The main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Design, plan and launch product innovation projects to help deliver divisional growth goals and ensure a robust multi-year innovation pipeline for the China market.
- Identify unmet customer needs, marketplace trends, competitive environment, and customer interest and build business case to turn those into profitable innovation projects in alignment with the company’s strategic goals into the China market.
- Work closely with business intelligence team and explore the next hero product based on industry and category trends, consumer intelligence and competitor analysis on a regular basis.
- Work closely with manufacturers to deliver world class innovative products based on launch timeline.
- Lead a talented NPD team in the creation and development of holistic value propositions (concept, product, positioning, financials & forecasts) that meet the needs of the consumer target and that can be sustainable business models.
- Be the in-house scientific expert to educate the product unique selling points with proven science.
- Stay on top of China general trade regulations for product compliance.
- Work closely with the China sales team to develop market specific product strategy.

Think “out of box” and lead and executive market research using divergent platforms / tools in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while keeping the team connected to current trend and potential disruptive innovation opportunities.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
- Nutrition or marketing related Degree with 5+ years experiences in FMCG industry, preferably with a consumer health industry background
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to deal with people from different backgrounds and cultures
- Sound PC skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Team player
- Ability to deal with other internal/ external stakeholders
