ISS is currently seeking an experienced business leader that can demonstrate sound financial acumen and operational understanding to join us in the position of** Operations Manager **at **Gold Coast Airport, **employed on a **Full-Time **basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Aviation Security, the Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the ISS Aviation Security team at Gold Coast Airport. With a key focus on building and fostering a strong strategic and operational relationship with our client at Gold Coast Airport and to support the General Manager in the achievement of contract KPI’s. In addition, this roles aim is to effectively secure our clients assets in line with contractual agreements, provide leadership, and coordinate and support our security team in maintaining a secure and safe environment across the site. The role will promote and drive a work culture centred on the ISS core values of Honesty, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility and Our Quality and displays the effectively demonstrate the ISS Leadership Competencies.

**Role Details**:

- Coordinate and develop a high performing operational team, ensuring contractual compliance and continual development are measured to achieve targets in the day to day operation.
- People management - develop and retain the capabilities of key talent required to deliver world class Aviation Security Services.
- Be comprehensively versed in the contract service requirements and contractual KPI’s to ensure consistent delivery of Aviation Security Services. Ensure consistent delivery of security services according to agreed processes that meet or exceed our contractual/regulatory obligations.
- Be a strategic partner with our client, understand their strategy and ensure ISS adds value to the strategy by liaising with key stakeholders. Establish and maintain productive relationships with other airport organisations (AFP, airlines, etc.).
- Ensure contractual compliance through frequent review and development to ensure agreed Key Performance Indicators are being achieved
- Ensure the security program has due regard for the needs for the needs of our passengers and business partners
- Ensure robust Governance of Security Contract and delivery of quality security outcomes through effective procedures, training, audit programs and a formal benchmarking process involving other airports.
- Complete and submit monthly and annual reports to the client with support from key stakeholders and complete monthly and quarterly internal reporting requirements with a view of business improvement.
- Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and assisting with the management at site of the following financial indicators (this list is not exclusive or exhaustive):

- Profit and Loss Report
- Absenteeism management
- Managing overtime
- Performance auditing
- Assist and develop short and long range plans for ISS Aviation Security Services to ensure the team achieves its vision
- Ensure development of processes and programs capable of delivering world best practice service performance.
- Partner with the Training & Compliance Manager to ensure all employees in area of responsibility are trained as required under the regulations or determined by the division and ISS.
- Assist and conduct required audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance as established by the National Risk & Compliance team.
