Our client is a reputed Japanese MNC company and provides a friendly working environment, culture and people oriented. They are currently seeking for a Human Resource Manager to join their Sydney office team.

**About the role**:

- Manage and performs the daily routine functions of the Human Resource department including but not limited to payroll management; hiring and interviewing staff performance, compensation, benefits and leave; maintain personnel policies and regulatory compliance, OHS; support training and development; enforcing company policies and practice.
- Responsible for HR strategy planning and programs execution
- Implement and identify ways to improve employee policies and procedures
- Maintains compliance and knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, reviews policies and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Advice senior managers on various people issues with transformation and change.
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5 years or above of experience as a HR manager/senior HR consultant
- Multitasking with strong time management, planning and organization skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
- Business level Japanese is highly preferred
- Work experience in both Japanese company and Australian subsidiary company will be a plus
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and current employment legislation
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with MS Office suite
