- Following the announcement by the Australian Government to acquire a fleet of UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Government in January 2023, Lockheed Martin Australia is looking to establish a core team of experienced military Rotary Wing professionals to support the procurement and sustainment activities. - In this crucial role you will manage all Subcontract Administration tasks for the UH-60M Sustainment, from market solicitation to preparation of RFQ, RFI and bid packages through to negotiation, execution and continuous management of external and internal Subcontracts. Another important factor of this role is to manage the Australian Industry Capability (AIC) Program of the UH-60M Sustainment in accordance with all relevant regulation (AIC Manager responsibility).**Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Oversee and support monthly internal and external subcontractor performance reporting
- Manage all AIC planning, development, delivery and reporting activities
- Establish and oversee the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialised materials, equipment, and services
- Prepare and coordinate RFQs and RFIs, bid packages
- Negotiate and coordinate the implementation of subcontracts
- Guide procurement and subcontract administration activities
- Work closely with the Australian Government, the Program and Australian industry to deliver the AIC plan

**About you**:

- With superior communication and negotiation skills, you will have significant contract and subcontract management experience. Ideally you will also hold Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).**To be successful in this role you will also have**:

- Significant experience working in a commercial or contract management environment
- Ability to understand, draft and accurately interpret contracts and subcontracts
- Experience with and knowledge of AIC aspects of major programs
- Credibility with the customer (CASG and broader Defence stakeholders)
- Significant experience in negotiation and resolution of complex issues to achieve a positive, commercially focused outcome

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or restore NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
- The location of the role will be in Brisbane, QLD.
