**About Insitu Pacific**
Insitu Pacific delivers industry-leading uncrewed aerial system (UAS) services to Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Our expertise, operational experience, and knowledge has established Insitu Pacific as a key provider of end-to-end advanced multi-domain ISR solutions.
Since 2009, our people, partnerships, suppliers and local flight testing and training facilities have effectively supported defence, commercial and civil customers. Located in Alderley, Insitu Pacific head office is less than 10 minutes' drive from Army's Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera, and 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD.
**The Opportunity**
The Subcontracts Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting the Supply Lead to administer, manage and maintain subcontracts in accordance with Insitu Pacific's policies and procedures. The Subcontracts Specialist is also responsible for providing advice to management and staff on contractual matters on existing subcontracts and new business opportunities.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sub-contracting requirements in support of current and/or future opportunities for Insitu Pacific.
- Conduct sourcing activities using RF(x) suite of documentation.
- Review proposals, negotiate contractual documentation and select or recommend suppliers.
- Prepare and coordinate specific contract change proposals, subcontract change proposals and non-disclosure agreements.
- Be the point of contact with assigned customers and subcontractor/supplier for all related contractual matters.
- Ensure that Insitu Pacific conducts its contractual business in compliance with all Export and Import Control requirements.
- Ensure that appropriate personnel are adequately trained on contractual matters to protect Insitu Pacific's commercial interests. Development of user guides and training materials.
- Participate in existing and new business contract and subcontract negotiations.
- Identify possible suppliers to meet program needs or business ‘gaps' and assess suitability for procurement.
- Monitor and manage performance of subcontractors/ suppliers and provide reports to Supply Lead.
- Provide technical, administrative support and other duties as requested by the Supply Lead.
- Functional oversight and leadership to the extent assigned by the Supply Lead.
**Experience/Qualification**
- Tertiary qualification in business or law related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in contract/subcontract management and administration.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- The ability to work accurately and unsupervised, and the ability to prioritise work as required and manage external/internal resources.
- Proven ability to work in a busy team environment.
- Proven ability to display a positive and flexible attitude, self-motivated and efficient.
- Demonstrate ability to meet and adhere to critical deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
