**THE AUSTRALIAN PROPERTY INSTITUTE (API)**

The Australian Property Institute (API) represents the interests of property professionals who undertake the full range of property valuations, plant and machinery valuers, property analysts and investment advisors, property fund and asset managers, property and facility managers, property lawyers, property researchers and academics.

The API’s primary role is to set and maintain the highest standards of professional practice, education, ethics and professional conduct for its members and the broader property profession.

The API is committed to building and maintaining a strong base for the future of the property profession through broadening the expertise and knowledge of membership.

**OPPORTUNITY**

The Australian Property Institute is on the hunt for a Marketing Communications Officer to join our driven organisation. This position is a full time, ongoing position based in Melbourne.

**Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)**:

- Assisting the Marketing and Communication department to develop and distribute member-centric communications, campaigns and advertisements
- Publishing on various platforms, such as WordPress, learning management systems, social media channels etc
- Upholding brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual elements across all communication channels.
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the performance of campaigns and communication outputs using relevant metrics and tools.

**YOU**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient written communication skills including strong proofreading, content creation and editing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously to achieve organisational goals
- Good process management and problem-solving skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to meet deadlines and display initiative when organising and prioritising work
