**Remuneration**: Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,211 to $128,061 plus super and leave loading
**Location**: Based in Parramatta with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, including work from home options (35-hour week)

**About You/ Role**

Make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals in times of an incident or emergency. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals in a supportive team environment, fostering personal growth and development. In this role, you will be working with a team of individuals responsible for coordinating and delivering support services to schools alongside emergency services organisations for the response to major incidents, emergencies, and disasters impacting NSW schools and workplaces across the state.
- The ability to remain resilient and composed in high-pressure and rapidly changing situations
- Works well in a team environment, fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues through thick and thin.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and efficiently
- The capacity to demonstrate empathy, understanding, and sensitivity towards individuals affected by emergencies

**Skills and Experience**
- Strong coordination and leadership skills in emergency response management.
- Proficient in policy and procedural compliance.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Analytical and reporting proficiency for data analysis and continuous improvement.

**Essential requirements of the role**:

- Working with Children Check for paid employment or willingness to obtain one
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel
- Willingness to work a seven-day roster during a major event

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and ensuring quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
