**About the role**

The role is responsible for leading a team of professional staff responsible for providing workers compensation financial management and claims administration services in order to maintain the Department’s workers compensation legislative obligations, statutory compliance that minimise the impact on workplace operations and educational continuity.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a related field
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Current NSW Drivers license (or equivalent) and willingness to drive and travel
