Rubix Solutions is representing a leading defence consultancy, offering multiple opportunities for experienced Program Operations Leads. These roles are within the Enterprise Technology Operations Branch (ETOB) of the Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG) at the Department of Defence.

As a Program Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the governance, assurance, compliance, service enablement, and performance management of managed Terrestrial Communications (TC) service providers within large, complex defence IT environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and effectiveness of TC services, supporting the mission-critical operations of the Department of Defence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction in the governance, assurance, and compliance of TC service providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage the service enablement and performance management of TC service providers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships to drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in managing large, complex Terrestrial Communications environments, leveraging this experience to enhance service delivery and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to assess requirements, develop technical designs, and implement solutions that meet project objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of technical designs and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and protocols.
- Utilize your expertise in project governance to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide security and technical assurance, identifying vulnerabilities and security issues, and implementing appropriate remediation measures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance TC capabilities and performance.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ Experience In IT Operations
- Certification/Degree in Information Technology in any of the IT disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in governance, assurance, compliance, service enablement and performance management of managed TC service providers.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing large complex Terrestrial Communications environments.
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience In IT Operations
- Existing NV1 security clearance or above
- Experience with Terrestrial Communications highly desirable, or within the telecommunication sector
- Proven experience working in complex defence IT environments
- High familiarity with project governance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Security and Technical Assurance expertise
- Ability to review technical designs and develop relevant documentation
