Our Operational Communications division is responsible for coordinating and optimising state-wide emergency and non-emergency ambulance response, as well as the provision of patient care through Australia's largest ambulance triage directorate.
**About the role**
Ambulance Victoria currently have a great opportunity for a Program Lead to join the Operational Communications team within AV's Operational Communications directorate. Reporting to the Operational Communications Advisor, this position is primarily responsible for playing a leadership role in designing, coordinating, and improving Operational Communications programs of work. Additionally oversee and coordinate the delivery and operational aspects of projects, facilitating cross-divisional stakeholder engagement and project governance. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing systems and processes to monitor the effectiveness of projects and programs after implementation, providing reports and recommendations as required to support continual improvement.
- Supporting Operational Communications managers to use evidence-based co-design and change management principles and strategies to effectively plan and deliver positive and targeted outcomes.
- Act to resolve stakeholder issues and negotiate with stakeholders, peers, and external partners to achieve positive outcomes
- Provide advice and support to the divisional leadership team to prioritise and sequence the delivery of workplan items and project deliverables, without adversely impacting operational service delivery.
**About you**
Suited to a highly motivated individual who is passionate about improvement, to be considered for this position, you will possess the following:
- Completion of a postgraduate degree/relevant industry certification (or progress toward) project management and/or program delivery qualifications desirable
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing complex projects across multiple initiatives and a broad change agenda, impacting critical business processes and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in program monitoring and reporting to support sound governance mechanisms and achievement of objectives.
- Demonstrated record of achievement in planning and delivering a change management program within a complex organisational environment and to tight timeframes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience in establishing, developing, and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to prepare high quality reports, papers, and presentations for a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated conceptual and problem-solving skills to constructively challenge and improve processes, approaches and thinking.
- Highly developed planning and organising skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling of work tasks for self and others to ensure work priorities are completed on time and within budget, and to effectively operate in a high workload environment.
- Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence.

This position is graded at **AV5** under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021, plus 11% superannuation.
