The position is available due to the recent growth of the company and the need for an experienced finance professional to set up systems and processes that will facilitate the next round of growth.

They are now looking for a Company Accountant who is also innovative, ambitious and has a true passion for technology, systems, and continuous improvement.

**YOUR NEW JOB**
Your role is responsible for the provision of expert accounting services for the group including month-end closing procedures, monthly management reporting, and preparation of (consolidated) financial statements, other responsibilities include:

- Participating in business meetings and being exposed to client issues would set you apart from other finance professionals and ensure you can deliver an integrated finance function that supports the aims and objectives of the business
- Work with the Executive Leadership team to deliver a fully integrated finance function leveraging existing systems where possible and identifying opportunities to automate where appropriate.
- Knowledge of executive dashboards and the needs of an executive leadership team would be highly regarded
- Preparation of monthly financial statements (incl consolidation)
- Review and reconcile financial statements monthly
- Generate monthly and ad-hoc invoices based on client agreements
- Weekly margin and productivity analysis
- Lodge and reconcile payroll tax liabilities
- Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS
- Experience dealing with Foreign currency payments would be well regarded
- Review and maintain appropriate business insurance policies
- Review and assist with payroll activities

**ABOUT YOU**
You are a skilled Accountant and pride yourself on your commercial acumen. You are an excellent communicator and are able to relate to a wide range of stakeholders and internal customers.

- Strong communication skills are a is a must, along with problem-solving and analytical skills
- You will need the ability to pick things up quickly and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced environment
- You will be hands-on and get involved in the details and be willing to take ownership of tasks at all levels.
- Knowledge of ERPs such as Epicor would be well regarded
- Experience in automating processes and implementing new systems is highly desirable
- Capable of working autonomously and in a team

(open to considering a 4-day work week for the right level of experience)
