**About the role**: This newly created position is an opportunity to make a major contribution to improving access to justice in Victoria. The rapid growth of VLA's Legal Help service (our phone line, live-chat and in-person service that provides the major gateway to legal assistance services in Victoria) has made it challenging to maintain general community access to the service while also providing tailored responses to people who most need assistance. In response, we have reviewed Legal Help's role and are now preparing to implement major reforms to how it operates. This role will lead the change and engagement necessary to implement the review's recommendations. You will develop and deliver project management, change management, engagement and communications strategies and plans to support the reforms in ways that ensure client, stakeholder and employee input, maximise employee adoption and drive cultural change across the organisation.
Working closely with Legal Help's leadership team, you will lead the development and assessment of different options to implement the review's recommendations and then lead the preferred approach.

**About Legal Help**: Legal Help provides responsive and targeted high-quality assistance to community members by diagnosing legal problems in a wide range of areas, providing legal information, legal advice and referrals to legal and non-legal services. Its staff operate two general helplines (phone and webchat) and 14 priority helplines and in-person services at VLA offices and courts, assisting around 130,000 people a year with streamlined intake, direct service delivery and referrals. They provide services in 29 languages and makes more than 500 referrals a day to more than 200 organisations.
- Significant experience and expertise in complex change management programs, preferably in the government, justice, health or social services sector, with a deep understanding of how people go through change and demonstrated experience managing all stages of the change process.
