**The Role**
The role will provide administrative support and assistance to Defence's high-level committees. This will include overseeing and assisting in pack building, inbox management, facilitation and support of high-level meetings. You will be exposed to a wide range of business activities relating to running senior decision-making forums.

Committees supported are:

- Defence Committee - Chaired by the Secretary and the Chief of the Defence Force;
- Enterprise Business Committee - Chaired by the Associate Secretary and the Vice Chief of the Defence Force;
- Strategic Policy Committee - Chaired by the Secretary and the Chief of the Defence Force;
- Chiefs of Service Committee - Chaired by the Secretary and the Chief of the Defence Force; and
- Investment Committee - Chaired by the Vice Chief of the Defence Force and the Associate Secretary.

The Administration Support Officer will also provide assistance in the coordination of tasking’s across the Branch and executive support. ¤

**About our Team**
The Enterprise Committees Directorate has two key functions; supporting the operation of Defence’s Tier One and Tier Two Enterprise Committees and undertaking analysis on policy items being considered in senior forums to support the Associate Secretary.

Our team works operates at a high tempo to assist committee Chairs by managing respective forward work programs, agendas, paper distribution, developing Outcomes and tracking committee actions. The team has exposure to critical issues being considered in enterprise committees across Defence, and the ability to inform decision making in these forums.
