**Key responsibilities**:
The Drug & Alcohol Service Manager will work with the IHMS Management team to provide quality drug and alcohol services to persons in immigration detention in Australian region. Key responsibilities:

- Drive the establishment of a new drug and alcohol services model
- Oversea the delivery of Drug and Alcohol services across the network clinics
- Liaise with Health Services Managers and Team leaders to ensure that clinical staff adhere to the standard operations policy and procedures
- Identify, manage and escalate relevant clinical and business risks
- Assisting with senior level D&A cover when the D&A Medical Director is unavailable
- Provide reports as requested for the purposes of service monitoring and other ad hoc reports

**About you**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a D&A service with experience at Team leadership or Management level
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to implement change and practice development across a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated evidence of leading and managing complex projects relating to significant practice change for the organisation
- Experience in opioid substitute therapy program management required
- A SMART recovery facilitator or willing to become
- Full working rights in Australia and AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience with computerised medical records and medical practice systems
- Post graduate qualifications in drug and alcohol desirable
