Currently, we are seeking passionate and experienced Male Mental Health Support Workers to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of two young brothers aged 10 and 13.
- **Position Overview**:_

As a Male Mental Health Support Worker at AUSLIFE DISABILITY CARE, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our clients, focusing on mental health, community participation, and personal care. This unique opportunity involves working collaboratively in a team of two male support workers during each shift, with responsibilities including school drop-offs and pick-ups, after-school activities, and attending appointments.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

Mental Health Support: Provide empathetic and compassionate care, focusing on the mental well-being of the two brothers.

Community Participation: Facilitate and engage in community activities to enhance social integration and participation.

Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the clients.

School Drop-offs and Pick-ups: Safely transport the clients to and from school, ensuring a supportive and secure environment.

Appointment Assistance: Accompany the clients to appointments and provide necessary support.
- **Requirements**:_

**Experience**: Proven experience as a Male Mental Health Support Worker, with a strong background in community participation and personal care.

**Qualifications**: Relevant qualifications in mental health, disability support, or a related field.

**Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a rapport with the clients and work effectively within a team.

**Driver's License**: A valid driver's license is essential for school drop-offs and pick-ups.

**Availability**:Flexible availability, including after-school hours and occasional weekends.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
