**About the Agency**
This is a large Federal Government Department that operates throughout Australia. This team has a focus on delivering key health strategies for the coming years.

**About the Role**

The Reporting Officer is an important team membership position within this Agency and will support the team to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.

The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in complex problem solving and issues management within the various functions. The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level reporting and planning advice and operational support.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Contributing to Corporate Plan reporting processes for Board and Executive Leadership Team
- (ELT) reports and other reporting activities as required.
- Coordinating input to produce relevant, timely and accurate reports and ensuring branch reporting
- activities adhere to Agency standards and frameworks.
- Assisting in the development of the Agency annual work plan and Corporate Plan strategy.
- Providing local reporting requirement advice and support to business areas.
- Leading and/or supporting continuous improvement activities as they arise within the team.
- Assist in maintaining the Agency work plan (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time)

**Skills and Capability**
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and analyse reporting products including the preparation of draft
- reports on relevant Agency activities
- Document writing skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Share Point products
- Knowledge of reporting tools, Tableau, Power BI, desirable
- Valid Police Check
