**The role**:
Guided by the Supply Chain strategy, our Purchasing Manager will be responsible for actively managing and implementing CR's procurement activities to meet business objectives. This includes, but not limited to managing and implementing the entire Procure-to-Pay end-to-end activities, developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure supply fulfilment with good procurement practices, mitigating risks and ultimately influencing and promoting delivery in full on time to meet customer expectations.

**About you**:
You will have experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to assess, manage and implement thorough multi-level risk mitigation strategies around Supply, Quality and Cost. Manage suppliers and commercial relationships. Ensure implementation of agreed commercial terms and supplier contract compliance.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working with GMD dept (Global Manufacturing Development) to implement any New Supplier introductions.
- Work with GMD dept to Implement RFQ and support any sourcing activities for any new product introductions.
- Review and map all Procurement activities and identify the gaps (process, training) and set up an action plan to remove any gaps.
- Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
- Produce a material price monitoring dashboard.
- Actively monitor and work with Suppliers to deliver in full on time to meet supply chain excellence objectives and customer satisfaction metrics
- Proactively, identify and drive cost reductions opportunities with all suppliers.
- Manage and ensure Supplier Price Schedules are updated in the ERP system

To be successful in the role you will provide management reports on a monthly basis around major KPIs, projects, cost reductions, risks and key issues. Develop, maintain and ensure proper documentations around compliance, processes, procedures, work instructions and workflows in accordance to ISO9001 expectations and Procurement best practices. Monitor industry trends and constantly look for opportunities to reduce costs and ensuring supply continuity.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary or Degree qualified in Business, Engineering, or related supply chain discipline
- Minimum 5 years and above Supply Chain experience covering: Purchasing, Sourcing and Outsourcing. Working with technical / industrial products
- Working with ERP systems (Dynamics D365 ERP experience will be an advantage)
- Manufacturing background or knowledge
- Speaking mandarin or Vietnamese would be ideal but not mandatory
