**About the team**
The Discipline of Social Work and Social Policy is located in the School of Allied Health and offers a four-year Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), a two-year postgraduate Master of Social Work along with Higher Degree by Research options and Graduate Certificates in Child Protection, Social Policy and Mental Health. Key focus areas for the Discipline in teaching and research include the integration of Indigenous cultural knowledges across the courses and the embedding of Lived Experience across the Discipline.
**About the opportunity**
The appointee will be expected to undertake research and actively strive to obtain research funding, individually or in collaboration, as well as supervising research students and contribute to the academic environment of the School.
**About you**
- A PhD qualification in an academic field relevant to the discipline or working towards one is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment, and materials for units in Social Work in a University environment.
- Demonstrated ability to administer and coordinate academic units in teaching and learning. Commitment to inclusive and flexible teaching methods, such as case enhanced learning and e-learning.
- Demonstrated achievement and experience to write and publish in high quality journal articles and other publications relative to opportunity
