**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Join a local council as a Manager Enterprise and Economy. Local Government offers 35 hours per week, Work From Home days, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role. Key stakeholders in this position includes Federal Net Zero Authority, Department of Regional NSW, Western Sydney University, Mining and Energy Union, Centennial Coal Energy Australia.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

As a Manager Enterprise and Economy you will facilitate the creation of LEEP measures of success by monitoring progress, drafting and review action plans, including budgeting provisions, prepare and oversee the Economic Development and Tourism Departments budget and program of works to the community and effective use of Council's resources for coal mining and energy production at Energy Australia's power station.

**DUTIES.**
- Build a sustainable and effective engagement strategy with internal and external Stakeholders
- Provide a central point for relevant community groups to access information to prospective investments and development
- Promote Council's economy of products and services at regional, state, national and international levels
- Attend and represent Council at meetings, public forums, civic functions and events

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Economic Development, Business or relevant field
- Commitment to driving positive chance in the socioeconomic circumstances of communities
- Prior experience in land use planning, education or transitions management
- Interpersonal skills are required to manage relationships of all Stakeholders
