Our client a **Market Leader in the manufacture and supply of Commercial Furniture **throughout Australia, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their busy and highly productive planning team.

This **diverse role** covers varied duties in **inventory control, procurement, order scheduling** and coordination with all relevant stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Inventory Manager, Production Manager and a variety of other key stakeholders across operations and procurement.

**Your “can do” attitude will see you**:

- Processing orders and all associated customer service with suppliers and the team.
- Scheduling manufacturing & internal production dates to meet customer lead times.
- Assisting with custom quoting of non-stocked manufactured product
- Liaising with the sales team, warehouse, logistics and suppliers regarding deliveries & orders.
- Following up with suppliers regarding back orders and communicating relevant information to stakeholders if & when orders are affected.
- Working with the assembly department to ensure orders are completed & ready by the scheduled delivery date.
- Ensuring that hardware components for manufacturing are always in stock & alternatives are sourced if required.
- Analysing material requirements for all pending jobs and administering stock takes.
- Involvement in purchasing raw materials & items for inventory.
- Problem-solving potential delays in production and stock
- Reviewing orders and prioritising based on material or component requirements.
- Miscellaneous administration duties as required.

**On-the-job training will be provided to ensure your success.**
To thrive in this multifaceted role, you will have a strong customer service orientation and a keen eye for detail.

You will have displayed exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, combined with great enthusiasm and a proactive approach.

**Previous inventory control or supply chain/ procurement /customer service/ administration/ internal sales/planning/purchasing experience **in a consumer goods **manufacturer**/supplier would be useful, but not essential.

Background in roles requiring planning, inventory control, scheduling, managing multiple priorities and solving problems will be highly regarded.
