**About Us**:
Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work within the team Technical Team reporting to the Technical Manager

**The Opportunity**:
The Quantity Surveyor will support the Commercial Department at Parklife Metro JV in appropriately managing bill of quantities, take off quantities, contracts administration and the claims, variations and payment authorisation processes as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide take off quantities from Construction Drawings including BIM Model and other 3D tool.
- Prepare and assess revised Bill of Quantities
- You will also possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
- Solid technical writing and communication skills
- Strong data management, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of construction regulations and law
- Ability to understand and articulate contractual rights and positions
- Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong Initiative and proactive nature

**Criteria**:

- Minimum 5 years experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role
- Experience working on large scale construction projects
- Experience in claims / variations
- Experience of SAP Software / accounting and associated reporting
