ConsultANZ is seeking a Quantity Surveyor professional for a Brisbane based project. As the Quantity Surveyor Professional, you will be creating progress reports, liaising with site construction teams, and working closely with your Project Director/Manager to plan, schedule, and programme projects using specialist software.
**Main Duties**:
- Initially delving into the costing of the projects.
- Looking at unit cost for productivity.
- Developing standard reporting commercially for the group.
- Providing commercial and contractual support to live projects where necessary.
- Manage cost reporting, cost tracking, and forecasting, while building and standardising these practices across the business.
- Create and establish a comprehensive control process.

**About You**:
- Tertiary degree in civil engineering or similar ideally with 8+ years of experience.
- Background as a quantity surveyor/commercial manager/engineer with a strong commercial/financial understanding of civil projects.

- Proficient in using specialist project controls software - specifically Power BI, Candy, and Excel.
- Practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
- Solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within your chosen field of engineering
- Previous civil and infrastructure experience ideally in a medium to large scale project environment
