Social Media Manager

We are seeking a talented and driven **Social Media Account Manager** to join the Edible Beauty Australia team. Your focus will be on developing a strong social media strategy and developing creative and engaging content for Edible Beauty across Instagram, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest, playing a key role in expanding our presence across multiple platforms. This is a unique opportunity to enhance and grow our brand's social presence in the natural beauty space.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Content Creation**: Develop engaging and creative content tailored to Edible Beauty's values and products for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta, including static images, videos, infographics and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand’s aesthetic and mission.
- **Community Engagement**: Actively engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering positive interactions on TikTok and Instagram to build a loyal, engaged audience. Coordinate brand challenges and cross-collaborations to increase brand following.
- **Influencer Outreach.** Scoping, communication and gifting to appropriate influencers in the Tiktok and Instagram space.
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to refine strategies and enhance outcomes.
- **Trend Monitoring**: Stay current with social media trends, features, and best practices to keep our content fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the broader team to ensure social media content aligns with Edible Beauty’s overall brand strategy, campaigns, and product launches.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: At least 3 years experience managing social media accounts, especially on Instagram and TikTok, with a track record of creating viral content. Ideally for a fashion, wellness or beauty brand.
- **Live and breathe social media**: you keep up with what and who is trending, are constantly on the platforms and have a keen eye to jump on and recreate content trends when they are most relevant, in a way that is centric to brand identity.
- **Design**: Proficient with Software Canva, Procreate, Illustrator or similar. Familiar with scheduling software. You must have your own filming equipment and Phone/Camera.
- **Videography**: Planning, shooting, directing, and editing videos for social media, ensuring high production quality and alignment with our brand values.
- **Creativity**: Strong creative skills with the ability to develop innovative, vibrant and creative social content that reflects Edible Beauty’s brand ethos and drives engagement.
- **Analytical Skills**: Proficiency in analysing data from TikTok and Instagram Insights to adjust strategies and improve performance.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with online communities and represent the brand voice.
- **Organisational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- **Team Player**: Collaborative attitude with experience working cross-functionally within a team environment.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to adapt to changes in social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
**Preferred Experience**:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role within a beauty, wellness or fashion business.
- Proven ability to deliver results and contribute positively to brand projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing content creation and ad campaigns managed across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Experience in developing ad creatives, including copywriting, design concepts, and multimedia content that resonate with target audiences.
- Expertise in audience targeting, A/B testing, and partnerships/collaborations that have contributed to brand growth.
- Strong references or testimonials from previous roles highlighting achievements in social media.
**Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating compelling social media content.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinking for developing and executing social media strategies aligned with brand goals.
- Proficiency across various social media platforms and best practices.
- Ability to create engaging content calendar and strategy.
- Strong analytical skills to measure performance and derive insights.
- Creative thinking to generate innovative ideas for campaigns.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize campaign performance.
- Ability to adapt strategies based on platform changes or brand needs.
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth industry knowledge of trends, updates, and best practices in social media marketing.
